Ob Appt

I forgot to update yesterday after my appointment. Everything went well. We heard their heartbeats and they sounded great. I started my internal exams and all was great with that too. I will begin seeing my OB every two weeks now. I have been asked if I'm every two weeks this early because of the twins and this is a yes and a no. This has more to do with having gone through IVF but also due to twins. If I had not done IVF and was just having twins I don't think I'd be going every two weeks this early. But I am in no way complaining. I'm actually very happy to now be going every two weeks. I would have gone every two weeks all along if I could have.

So our next OB appt is March 5th and the next UltraSound is on March 11th.

17 weeks and OB appointment

I had my regular OB appointment today. Everything went well. I heard the heartbeats which is always great to hear. I do miss seeing them though. I was definetly spoiled when i was seeing my RE. But everything is going well so i have nothing to complain about and I'm feeling wonderful.

Here is week 17 fetal development update:

Don't be too shocked but... your baby is EVEN bigger than it was last week, not to mention getting cuter, and smarter every day! As you’ve come to expect, there’s no shortage of growth and development this week: your fantastic little bean stalk has added yet another half inch to their overall height-- making them nearly half a foot long! Their little limbs have reached (or are within one week of) their relative proportions, and will continue to grow evenly with the rest of the body after this week. Reactive listening has begun for your baby, even though their ears are not yet structurally complete or fully functional. Meanwhile, different parts of their astonishingly complex brain are developing to process your little one’s hearing and other senses, (you know, sight, smell, taste and touch).
